The City of Aalen and Carl Zeiss AG invite you to visit the “Tiefer Stollen” near Aalen and have a special tour through the abandoned mine. The tour will take 2 hours, so please don’t forget to bring warm clothes with you because of the low temperatures in the mine. The event will take place in Besucherbergwerk Tiefer Stollen, October 22, 2014, at 6 pm, Erzhäusle 1, 73434 Aalen. The ride with the mine railway into the visitor’s mine “Tiefer Stollen” is itself an exciting experience for adults and children. There’s a lot to marvel during the tour of the extensive tunnels and shafts. The fascinating multivision show below ground shows us the process of ore mining and iron processing in past times. But for all that the mine “Tiefer Stollen” is far more than an interesting visitor’s mine. The absolutely pure, dust and pollen-free air in the mine activates healing powers against asthma and other respiratory problems as well as certain allergies. The moderate, almost year-round fog-free stimulating climate at 400 to 800 metres above sea level increases your sense of well-being, and the impressive hiking and cycling landscape of the Swabian Mountains let’s your body, soul and spirit tank new energy.
Afterwards we will visit the restaurant “Erzgrube” in Aalen.
Please contact us till October 15th whether you can come. E-Mail: laura.ehinger@aalen.de or phone: 07361/521180
